  • I want a piece made - now what?
    1. Book a no-charge consultation. We will discuss your vision for the piece, including your style, functional needs, dimensions and wood types. Don’t worry – you don’t need to know all the answers to the above before we speak. Knowing you want a dining room table that’s a rectangle is a great start! We will also provide price estimate. TIP: Having a couple inspiration images of furniture or designs you love is a helpful way to describe your vision 2. We provide a custom design proposal. We create and present back to you a design deck including a mood board, 3D renderings of your piece, timetable, sample materials and final pricing (See past design decks). When you are happy with the final design, we are ready to build! Before the build begins, we require a 30% payment towards the construction of your project, including materials. 3. The build! We hand select every piece of wood for your piece at premium local lumber suppliers. Your piece is made by hand in Gowanus Brooklyn. We will share progress photos with you during the build. Want a closer look at how its made? You are welcome to visit the shop while its being built! 4. Delivery.Your piece will be delivered to your home or business with white glove care. Because we use traditonal fine woodworking methods your piece, in most cases will come completely constructed with very little assempbly required. Delivery is included in the pricing of every build.   • How much does a custom piece cost?
    The average starting price for a custom dinning table, media console,builtin bookcase or similarly sized piece is $2,800. Of course, every project is unique and final prices will vary – book a no-charge consultation to get your own price estimate Smaller pieces headboards, side tables and serving boards pricng is listed on the portfolio page Delivery is included in price for all NYC area clients. We ship throughout the United States! Shipping prices will vary dependign on location.
  • What kind of woods do you use?
    Its important to us to use non-endangered woods that are grown in abundance in the Americas. This includes American Walnut, Maple, Ash, Cherry Red and White Oak. We also love using reclaimed (recycled) woods. This list is not exhaustive, but reprsents the materials we use most often. Want expert advice on what wood is best for your project?   • What type of payments are accepted and is financing available?
    Pieces are invoced thru Paypal. Payments can be made via Paypal, any major credit cards, paypal payments as well as cash. Financing is availible thru PayPal Credit, upon approval. We ask for a 30% deposit just before the build begins to
